WHY are we doing it?

We'd Like You to Meet...
We wish to encourage more people to get out and meet other people, RVers, as RVers. To see how much we all share and have in common despite our ethnic, religious and social backgrounds. Something great happens to you when you get together with a group of RVers and you retain most of it when the group separates. It gives you a special strength to meet the challenges of life as you resume your regular, daily tasks and challenges.

See America!
We wish to encourage people to get out and see our land, our United States of America. As ex-GIs, we have seen much, for some of us, most of the rest of the world. Sure, there are castles and history to see in Europe; there are castles and history to see in America, too. But there is so much more. The United States of America started as a unique spot on this globe and it has developed as a unique land. We need to see more of it to help us understand us better and to better appreciate our America and ourselves. We have so many blessings for which to be thankful.

RVing Then
We spent several years traveling around our country in our 1948 Flxible Clipper covering almost 200,000 miles. There were no 'RV Parks', then. Where do you get water, where do you get rid of your grey water, — much more, your sewage?

RVing Now
All that has changed in recent years. We have seen RV Parks, frequently called 'resorts', that are the absolute center of luxurious living. And most of the owners and managers we — and our friends — have met are truly kind, helpful, yes, wonderful people. We would like to encourage others to also experience these things and to enrich their lives as we have been so fortunate to enrich ours.
